Introduction
A new millennium saw the formation of a new travel club for NTFC supporters. Sixfields Travel Club was born in January 2000, ands its main aim is to raise money for NTFC through the provision of organised travel to all away matches.
The travel club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Brenda and Bill Wallington for their initial financial help that enabled Sixifelds Travel Club to start its successful journey.
Another year passes and Sixfields Travel Club continues to raise funds, this, the 11 year, saw us raise another £20,000 now that STC has been in operation, committee members have given over £132,000 to NTFC by means of donations and sponsorships. This is a fantastic achievement and STC hopes to continue this financial support for many years to come.
In addition to the travel aspect, STC also organises many social events, such as Dog Racing Evenings, Stadium tours (including Wembley, Arsenal and Manchester United), quiz nights and many more events on the way: WATCH THIS SPACE!!!. A firm favourite amongst the travellers has been the annual weekend away, which in 2012 sees Sixfields Travel Club travel to Chester for a weekend of Fun, Friendship and The Cobblers.
Throughout the season all passengers vote for their Man of The Match, and at the end of the season the winning player is presented with the Sharon Roberts Memorial Award, which is presented by Jane and Trevor Roberts at the last away game.
All profits from these events go straight to NTFC, and the support and generosity of all its members and friends is greatly appreciated.
